I live in Newark upon trent and after losing some channels yesterday I did a full re tune and after doing this I have lost the whole of the BBC channels and they are coming up as new on the OSD (on screen display) and when I do get them straight after a re tune I can only get them for 2 min's and after that they switch off and I get a blank screen with the OSD saying no signal.

I have also done a first time set up to see if this corrected the problem and it didn't.

Any one any ideas as to what I should be doing the box is less than a year old (if that helps ??)
Or should I be contacting an ariel person ??

Thanks a lot.

Your signal is too weak. A new aerial or aerial re-alignment is the answer here, also you could try a different transmitter. Good Luck JM

Could be several things, the dodgy box as we call them can fail.Have you recently been switched to another transmitter, your ariel may be too weak for freeview. We have a problem here where our local transmitter is sat on the mendips but we also get a good welsh signal,so here is a trick we learnt.Set your box to search, at just after half way pull out the co-ax then put it in again, that will remove the first part of the scan results and the box will continue to scan and I hope pick up the channels you want from another transmitter,it is a bit fiddly and may need a couple of goes.

I did my mum's genuinely then one in each and every of mine however the different one -no. The Freeview container grow to be too old and had to get a clean one - all high-quality now. We purely have one concern - we are residing in Wales yet now have the close by information from the South West of britain ! ( up mum's and likewise fairly some different peole)
