I was thinking of buying the current model Daewoo dvd/ vcr recording that provides simple one touch recordings from vhs to dvd. The reviews of it are not very good and so are the previous models. Are they really that bad? Am I better off trying to hook my old vcr to any dvd recorder and doing that instead?

I got this one from Currys or was it Comet, no problems.....as yet.

It's a Funia, the Daewoo VCR I had was grainy,... not good!

do not get the mixture in case you want to have one or the different repaired you lose both. I fairly have a DVD participant and a separate PDR. own digital recorder searching on the putting i'm getting everywhere from 80 to over one hundred hours of recording time. No tapes no disks to save or problem about or maybe as its finished i erase what i do not favor and easily save recording.

Probably works just as good as the other way you mentioned. In most cases you have to ask yourself if you can find the VHS somewhere in DVD format already from a shop. It maybe just as cheap and less of a hassle.
